"I'm A Sinner"

Forgiving the Sinner

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned,   we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us."       I John  1:9-10

Hello my name is___(YOUR NAME)_____, I’m a sinner.

There are "Ten Commandments." How many have I broken?

If I’ve broken one; I’ve broken all of them.  I pray that you'll forgive me; even those things I''ve done to you! If not then...

How can you find in your heart to forgive me of lying; yet every day you remind me I stole?

How can you find in your heart to forgive me of stealing; yet every day you remind me I killed?

How can you find in your heart to forgive me of one thing; yet every day you remind me of something? Do you verbally remind me? Sometimes yes; oftentimes it’s through your actions. Why is it that you can’t seem to forgive me for the very same thing you did? You may say, I’ve never killed . .  . that may be true; but have you ever kept all of the Sabbaths Holy? Have you every placed another god (money, sex, food, and etc.) above our Living God? Have you ever made a statement that wasn’t true? If so, then you too have sinned.

Am I attempting to justify my sin? The answer would be no. Jesus died for me and you; therefore our sin is under His Blood! What’s the point? I wanted to let you know that I’m a sinner in constant need of His forgiveness; yet never living in condemnation because of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Will you admit you’re a sinner in need of His forgiveness and forgive me?

"For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation."               Romans 5: 6-11
